Aqueduct-A1 — Marine Situation Monitoring System

Aqueduct-A1 is an integrated system for monitoring marine, air and meteorological conditions. It combines software and hardware, a communication and switching complex for AIS, radar and video data, and the Aqueduct-A1-K shipboard version for bridge operations.

Complex composition

Base package includes adapted Linux operating system, LibreOffice (OpenOffice), expert system with inference engine and scenario development tools, object server, ontology server, map server, GIS server, web GIS interface, external network links via cable or Wi-Fi, OpenStreetMap layer, international open sources, and 3D small-scale map set with internet data loading.

Additional modules connect AIS, radar, weather stations, video systems, unmanned platforms and other sources, plus hydroacoustic and radar calculation libraries, track analysis and data fusion modules.

Aqueduct-A1 interface
  • Expert system and scenario modeling
  • GIS server, map server and web interface
  • Integration of open and proprietary data sources

The section includes server systems of various scale (or a workstation), operator workstations, information display via screens or video walls, documentation and storage systems, UPS units, information security (subscriber encryption), external system connectivity and air conditioning.

Each component can be detailed in catalog section C — marine monitoring hardware.

  • Servers and workstations
  • Operator workstations and video walls
  • UPS, encryption and external communications

The hardware-software communication and switching complex for primary data sources includes an operator workstation with specialized software, display, documentation and storage systems; switching and control unit; AIS equipment; radar and video system interfaces; power supply; cellular, wired, relay and satellite communications, and ADSL equipment.

The complex receives, routes and delivers data from all connected sources into a single monitoring environment.

  • AIS, radar and video systems
  • Data switching and flow management
  • Cellular, satellite and relay communications

Shipboard version of the marine situation monitoring system. The Aqueduct-A1 base functionality is adapted for bridge operations and shipborne information systems.

Implementation options:

  • Stationary system integrated with the ship bridge
  • Standalone bridge installation
  • Standard ECNIS
  • Smartphone software (DOG Marine)
